Spring trees on the lake

Radnor Reflections, April 2, 2011

We dawdled on our walk yesterday, stopping way too often to take pictures. Well, it’s not possible to stop too often for that, but a fast pace for exercise is the primary goal of our Radnor walks. The light created a smoky, translucent look to the trees, and reflected chartreuse puddles in the water.  We couldn’t help stopping to savor the fresh, fleeting colors of spring.

  1. Wow.. nice lakescape! And it’s like Radnor is helping, with that branch echoing the arc of the opposite hill so closely and the surface rippling giving just the separation to set off the reflections from the opposite shore. Beauty, eh?
    Cheers!
