Redbud branch

It has been fun to see the redbud in bloom. We started our walks last year just as they were starting to fade. This particular branch has been a willing model, this time for an in-camera motion blur achieved by twisting the camera in a circle while pressing the shutter. Setting was shutter priority, with speed set between a half and a full second.  You have to experiment to find what works best, as well as to compensate by decreasing ISO or exposure compensation if the longer shutter speed lets in too much light.
