Tall Bellflower

Radnor Reflections, June 3, 2011

Circumstances have come between the Deer Friends and walking for the past few days. Radnor began sprouting colors other than green, to lure us back probably. These small, commonly occurring wildflowers, only about an inch wide, are Tall Bellflowers.

  1. Pretty little guys; strange construction with the crowbar-like pistil out in front and the little ‘flowers’ down in the cup. Right size and enough on a stalk so a meadow would look like a pond, I imagine!
