Gray-Headed Coneflower

Coneflower

Radnor Reflections, June 5, 2011

There are many varieties of coneflower, most of them yellow, so I’m not entirely sure that this one is the gray headed one, but that’s the name I’m going with. It’s the first one I’ve seen this year at Radnor.  It was about ten feet from me and well protected by its poison ivy militia. I have no trouble identifying that. I even recognize the blisters.
