Grass Snake

Radnor Reflections, June 24, 2011

I haven’t posted anything from Radnor in a few days, due to travel and storms and Radnor itself being in something of a quiet, green lull. Two of the Deer Friends walked this week, and I didn’t see one thing to photograph until we were almost back to the parking lot. My subject was green, just like the rest of Radnor, but it was moving FAST!

  1. Oh how neat! that a native Tenn. snake? Pretty thing, it’s got to be darn near invisible some small way up a spring plant in an area with vines or in new growth ivy. I like how you can see the means of locomotion with the multiple positions of the loops, too; interesting how little the head moves from lining up on its direction.
