Trumpet Vine

Radnor Reflections, July 1, 2011

Finally, some color to relieve the green! The remains 0f the red/orange blossoms of the trumpet vine litter the trail, but they grow so high in the trees that they usually can’t be seen. These were at eye level for a change. Texture layer added.

  1. Another in your amazing series of flower portrait treatments, just beautiful! It’s a little hypnotic, looking at how the blossom moves between photorealism and the realm of painterly image. Spectacularly tasty piece, Karol!
    Cheers!
