Autumn Swirls into Radnor

Autumn Lakescape

Radnor Reflections, October 8, 2011

Every day the intensity of fall color builds at Radnor. Lake breezes create new patterns in the algae. Migrating birds honk and call and  stop for awhile to float in the water. The animals’ coats are becoming thicker. The transformation of summer into fall is so striking, it makes you wonder about the human seasonal response, or whether  we’ve insulated ourselves so well that we are out of whack with the grand scheme. I did have a TVA sponsored energy audit on my house last week. My response to fall better be to plug up some of the holes the audit revealed, before fall turns into winter!
